Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By downloading, installing or using Easy Chat ("the App"), made by NexLab Studios ("NexLab", "we"), you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Not affiliated with WhatsApp

Easy Chat is an independent utility that helps you open WhatsApp chats and use related tools. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by WhatsApp Inc. or Meta. WhatsApp is a trademark of WhatsApp Inc. You must also follow WhatsApp's own terms when you use WhatsApp. We are not responsible for WhatsApp's availability, features or policy changes.

3. Licence

We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App on Android devices you own or control, for personal or professional use.

You may not copy, modify, sell, rent or distribute the App; reverse engineer it; remove its notices; use it unlawfully; or get around its limits, ads or subscription checks.

4. No account

The App does not require an account. Your numbers, templates, reminders and other data stay on your phone, as described in the Privacy Policy.

5. Easy Chat Pro subscriptions and payments

Easy Chat offers an optional Pro subscription (monthly or yearly). Prices, billing periods and what Pro includes are shown in the App and on Google Play before you buy, in your local currency. A price change applies at your next renewal after notice from Google Play.

• Billing. Google Play charges your Google account when you confirm the purchase.
• Renewal. Plans renew automatically until cancelled. Cancel in Google Play at least 24 hours before the period ends.
• Cancelling. You keep Pro until the end of the paid period. Pro then switches off, and ads and the free limits return. There are no partial refunds for unused time, except where the law or Google Play requires it.
• Refunds. Google Play handles refunds under its own policies. We do not process payments.
• Restoring. You can restore Pro on a device signed in to the same Google account using Restore Purchases in the App.

6. Advertising and free limits

The free version shows ads from Google AdMob and limits some tools, such as the number of scheduled messages and saved templates. You can unlock a limited tool for 24 hours by watching a rewarded ad. We do not control the ads shown. Pro removes ads and the limits.

7. Using the tools responsibly

• Messaging. You are solely responsible for the messages you send through WhatsApp using the App. Do not use it for spam, harassment, scams or anything illegal, and do not message people who have asked not to be contacted.
• Scheduler. A scheduled message is a reminder. The App opens WhatsApp with your message ready and you press Send yourself. Reminders may be late or missed if your phone restricts background activity or exact alarms.
• Status Saver. Only save statuses you have the right to keep. Do not republish other people's content without their permission.
• Message Log. The log keeps a copy of notification text that Android has already shown you. It cannot recover messages that never produced a notification, and it does not read WhatsApp's chat database. Use it only in ways the law allows where you live, and respect other people's privacy.
• App Lock. If you forget your PIN, we cannot recover it. Clearing the App's storage removes the lock along with your data.

8. Prohibited use

You agree not to use the App to process illegal or harmful material, to infringe anyone's rights, to interfere with the App's security or ads, or to breach any law that applies to you. We may limit or end access if you do.

9. Ownership

The App, its design, code and graphics belong to NexLab and are protected by law. Third-party libraries keep their own licences.

10. No warranty

The App is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, that it works with every version of WhatsApp or every device, or that third-party services (Google Play, AdMob, WhatsApp) will always be available.

11. Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, NexLab is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of data, loss of profit, or a missed or wrongly addressed message. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 10 if you paid nothing. Nothing in these Terms removes rights you have under mandatory consumer law where you live.

12. Ending use

You can stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. Cancel any subscription in Google Play first to avoid further charges. We may suspend or end access if you break these Terms. Sections that by their nature should continue (ownership, warranty, liability) continue after use ends.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms. The date above will change, and for significant changes we will try to tell you in the App or in the update notes. If you keep using the App after a change, you accept the new Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar, and the courts of Doha have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights you have in your country. We will first try to settle any dispute in good faith. If a part of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest still applies.
